Our first platform, live since September 2026: a marketplace for authentic African stock footage, built by the person who shot much of it.
The problem
Authentic African footage is hard to find, hard to preview and hard to license. The material exists, and the people who shoot it exist, but the big platforms were not built with either of them in mind.
We did not learn this from research. We learned it from years on the other side of the camera, as a contributor uploading thousands of clips to international libraries.
The idea
A dedicated home where African footage is described properly, found quickly, licensed clearly and delivered anywhere in the world, with checkout that works for buyers in Lagos and in London.
Five themes, one continent
These themes were not invented at a desk. They are the worlds we spent years documenting in the field, now organised the way buyers search: by the kind of story they need to tell.

What it taught us
Building a serious platform means understanding the systems underneath it: storage, processing, payments, delivery and security. Those are exactly the systems that online shops and organisations across Africa need and rarely have.
