Problems we solve

The media industry has problems worth solving

Each problem states what goes wrong, why it costs something, and what we are doing about it.

Unsecured Engagement Terms

The problem

Production engagements commonly commence on a verbal understanding or a message thread, without an executed contract in place before work begins.

Why it matters

When the terms were never written down, a payment dispute or a scope disagreement at delivery has no reference point — and the creator carries the risk.

The opportunity

A binding digital agreement, executed before production begins, that both sides can point back to.

Building

Unprotected Asset Delivery

The problem

Finished masters or raw rushes are frequently handed over before the final invoice has cleared, removing any leverage to collect the remaining balance.

Why it matters

Once the client has the files, the production house has nothing left to negotiate with — cash flow depends entirely on trust.

The opportunity

Delivery tied to payment, so a download only unlocks once the invoice is actually settled.

Building

Unindexed Media Repositories

The problem

Historical footage and B-roll accumulate across drives and cards with no shared index, so material that was already paid for becomes difficult to find again.

Why it matters

An archive nobody can search is a cost, not an asset — footage gets reshot rather than rediscovered.

The opportunity

A centralised, searchable library, so past work stays accessible instead of quietly disappearing.

Untracked Production Assets

The problem

Cameras, optics, drones and audio gear move between crew members and locations without any custody record.

Why it matters

Equipment is usually a team's largest capital investment, and loss is discovered late, with responsibility hard to pin down.

The opportunity

A check-in, check-out ledger — what exists, where it is, and who last had it.

Building

Non-Executed Compliance Releases

The problem

Talent and location consent is often given verbally on set rather than captured in a signed release before the camera rolls.

Why it matters

Without a signed record, a broadcaster faces a real risk of distribution being challenged or blocked after the work is already done.

The opportunity

A mobile release form, signed on set before filming starts, with the record kept alongside the project.

Building

Non-Standardized Post-Production Pipelines

The problem

Incoming footage has no consistent ingest protocol, so every project starts its organising, transcoding and formatting from scratch.

Why it matters

Inconsistent ingest is where post-production deadlines quietly slip, project after project.

The opportunity

A standard ingest pipeline that carries every project from raw footage to final master the same way.

Our audience

Who we build for

We focus on five parts of the media industry we know from the inside.

01

Independent Producers & Directors of Photography

Freelance shooters and DPs taking on contract work for networks and agencies, who need clear terms and reliable delivery rather than work resting on trust alone.

02

Boutique Production Houses & Agencies

Small and mid-sized teams running multi-crew shoots, managing shared equipment, and sitting on years of footage that ought to be searchable rather than buried.

03

Media Ministries & Non-Profit Broadcasters

Church media wings and faith-based broadcasters handling large volumes of archival and field recordings, usually with limited technical staff and no budget for expensive monthly software.

04

TV Production Directors & Technical Coordinators

People keeping fast-moving studio sets and episodic schedules on track, where one missing clearance or a disorganised ingest step can hold up a broadcast.

05

Freelance Media Specialists & Crew Techs

Camera operators, drone pilots, audio engineers and lighting techs working project to project, exposed to late payment and unclear agreements more than almost anyone else in the chain.

A note on this page

We do not claim to have solved all of these. We are building, testing and learning — one real problem at a time.

Listing a problem is not a promise to solve it by a particular date. It is a statement of where our attention is, and why.

See what we have built so far

We solve problems in media that should not still exist.

Built from firsthand experience behind the camera and inside production. If you want to talk about what we have built, what we are building, or working together, reach out.
