Terms of Service
The rules for using this website and the services we build and run.
1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use visuacore.com or a service built or operated by VisuaCore Technology Limited ("VisuaCore", "we", "us"). By using them, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
2. What we do
VisuaCore builds and operates software for broadcasting, media production, marketplaces and businesses, including websites, search optimisation, security, payment integrations, AI tools and WhatsApp messaging services. Some services are our own platforms, such as VisuAfric, which has its own terms at visuafric.com. Others we run on behalf of client businesses.
3. Client projects
Work we do for a client business is governed by a written agreement with that client. Where that agreement says something different from these terms, the agreement applies.
4. WhatsApp and automated services
When you message a business's WhatsApp number and receive automated replies, the service is provided by that business, with VisuaCore as its technology provider. These services run on Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform, and your use of WhatsApp is also governed by WhatsApp's own terms. You can ask to speak to a member of the business's staff at any point in the conversation.
5. AI results
Some services use artificial intelligence to analyse images or text and make suggestions, for example cosmetic skincare routines. These results:
- are general cosmetic or informational guidance, not medical, legal or financial advice;
- do not diagnose, treat or prevent any medical condition;
- depend on the quality of what you provide, such as lighting and camera quality, and may sometimes be wrong.
If you have a skin condition that is painful, spreading, bleeding or otherwise worrying, please see a qualified health professional.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse our website or services: no unlawful content, no attempts to break into or overload our systems, no images of other people without their permission, no images of children, and no use of a service to harass or deceive anyone.
7. Payments and refunds
Payments for a client business's service are made to that business through licensed payment providers, and refunds follow that business's policy. Payments made directly to VisuaCore follow our refund policy.
8. Intellectual property
The content and design of this website, the VisuaCore name and mark, and the software we build belong to VisuaCore Technology Limited unless a written agreement says otherwise. You may not copy them for commercial use without our written permission.
9. Products in development
Anything on this site marked "Building" or "Exploring" is not yet available. Descriptions are given in good faith, but features and timelines may change.
10. Our responsibility
We work carefully and fix problems we are told about. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as network or power failures or outages at third-party platforms. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Nigerian consumer protection law.
11. Links to other sites
Our website links to other websites, such as VisuAfric and stock footage platforms. Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes will be handled by the Nigerian courts.
